what's your choice of window cleaner?

Outside glass, I use Stoner's IG with newspaper. Inside glass (tinted), I use EF Clear Vision with a MF....hmmm, just checked....did they discontinue that ? :nixweiss

20/20 on the 9C1's aftermarket tint, ZEP #40 or Griot's on the others. SprayWay isn't bad, I use that from time to time.

I really like the Zep #40, I've been buying it in multi-case lots for maybe 20 years. Perhaps I just like it out of familiarity :o but it seems to work well on winter salt-mess, the kind of stuff that tends to just smear and leave a residue instead of actually coming off the glass.

I am an avid user of Stoner's IG and Meguiar's Glass Cleaner (from their Detailer's Line). I use IG for final window wipe down after a car wash. For stronger stuff (bird bombs, bugs, etc), I use the Meg's Glass Cleaner. A *huge* benefit of Meg's Glass Cleaner is that it's sold in concentrated form. For about $13 you get a gallon of concentrate that can be diluted to make 10 gallons. Can't beat that value. Just my $.02.

I swear by Turtle Wax ClearVue Professional Auto Glass Cleaner. The stuff rocks and eats through all sorts of grime.

I like to use it with 0000 steel wool on outside windows before using a glass polish.

I also have great success using a QD instead of glass cleaner on both interior and exterior windows.

I just wring out a wet MF towel and use that to get all of the crud and then follow up with a dedicated glass MF towel and a small spray of 20/20. Unless I find a comparable product for less than 20/20 I will stick with it.....20/20 gets the job done and is economical and accessible.

For me its the new NXT Glass Cleaner. This stuff is awesome. I thought Stoners IG was great but this stuff is much much better.

My new glass combo is NXT with Pakshak 's new glass cleaning towel..:xyxthumbs

Where did you get the NXT glass cleaner?

Stoner's and a Norwex glass Cleaning Cloth:

This Microfiber 18â€Â x 18â€Â (Norwex) glass cleaning cloth has a super tight knit, lint free, cross-weave construction traps and collects water and is so effective (use damp) at cleaning glass that often a glass cleaner chemical (Stonerâ€â„¢s Invisible Glass) isn't even necessary. It features a very low-pile cut in a zigzag pattern, which literally attracts and removes off gassing, residue, smudges and oily fingerprints. Its efficient cleaning action is truly a time saver

I need to check but I think that is the cloth I just started uses. :xyxthumbs

I've tried lots but what I think is the best is EO 20/20. Cheap easy to find and gives the windows an almost Rain X type effect. I almost don't need to use the wipers in the rain because the water just rolls right off and when the rain is done there are no water spots. It's great stuff.

Same here and for the same reasons.

Straight white distilled vinegar( cleans, anti-static, non-steaking and retards / eliminates water spot formulation) for exterior glass, Stoners IG for interior OEM tinted glass and Plexus ( cleans, polishes and lubes) for interior after-market tinted (mylar) glass.
