What's Your Car Washing Time?

Whats QEW?

I did a search on the net. I guess this is it.

" Protect All Quick & Easy Wash (Car Wash) NO Hose! NO Suds! NO Mess! "

Scott-how do you qew so fast, takes me about an hour to do my car, mercury cougar. I used 2 buckets, wash w/ mf towel and blot dry w/ WW and then spray qd and buff w/ MF.

Takes at least an hour to do this and my car isnt that big.

Ive been trying to do like one half of the car at a time then go back and dry and that has been saving my conisderable time, but how can u do it in 20 mins? Just from experience or what?

I timed myself last night... after I had gotten set up it took me a little over 1 hour to wash my Taurus:

Conventional wash (1z perls)

Pexus on plastic

Dress tires/wheel wells

Windows inside and out

Door jambs (trunk and hood included)

QD

I did the same with my Explorer, and total time for both vehicles including set and after cleaning took just under 3 hours.

I started a little before 9AM this morning...bout 8:55... I got my cars lined up, 1 911, 1 Maserati, 1 ferrari 360 and a Jaguar.

I was able to wash, vacuum, windows, dress tires and OCW each one and I finished at 12:45PM

Again the key is having a system....well that and the fact that the cars are pretty much driven by only one person :grinno:

1 bucket, one terry cloth towel (first drying pass) and one microfiber towel (second drying pass), towels changed out as needed. All this extra stuff you guys add (like the 2nd bucket, spray bottle of QEW, etc) makes it no longer quick and easy. Believe me, a single bucket on a light to moderately dirty car is more than sufficient to safely wash the vehicle. Also, wash and dry the car in smaller section. Half the hood, move to the fender, other half of the hood, the grill area, other front fender, half the windshield, half the roof, half the back window, half the trunk, the do the doors (on the side you did the top half) in sections, then move to the back of the car, then around to the other half of the top and then the other side doors. Once around the car and done.

i might have to try this... got some ppl that might not be able to drop off at my location... and i don't have a full mobile setup (pressure washer, etc).

I've been using QEW for a couple of years now and love it! I've just recently got the trailer, tank, PW setup but that is mainly for some commercial work I do. Imagine doing a Peterbilit, Mack, etc. dump truck with QEW!!!! :nervous2: :chuckle:
