What's with the SPAM?

Termigator:
I don't make your e-mail address public.
As a matter of fact, that is one of the things I insisted on when we started this forum.....to not have member's contact info public...except for their "in forum" cointact info....like PM'ing.
I don't see a signature for you with an e-mail address in it.
Have you left your e-mail address in some posting?

I probably did not explain it correctly. It's not my email that has the spam. It's the thread that I posted on once and I get a notification that there was a response to that thread, but when I access the thread, the reply on the thread is a spam. My email hasn't been compromised. I was just wondering why the thread keeps getting spam messages.

Other than being know as the Administrator, I'm also know as the Terminator.
Behind the scenes, I am always fighting for you guys to keep the spam out.
I ban these guys just as soon as I see them coming into the forum.
Most of the time, I can get them before they make a post.

Always fighting, the fight!

I keep getting replies to my email on threads and they're spam. How are they getting in. Spammers are diabolical!:cursing:

Termigator,
I recently spoke with Mike Phillips and he told me it took him a while to get spam under control on their community. He said it got to a point that it was almost a full time job keeping up. Admin has been doing a commedable job at employing the latest "Star Wars" tech to stop it. With the help of a lot of the people on this community telling us when they find it, this also helps. Thanks to everyone for helping us police this problem. It is getting better.
