What's with the soapbox posts?

i think in soapbox posts no personal blogs are allowed only related information are allowed on those topic which are already discussed we are just involve and share information.

Speaking of which, there was recently a big deal made about how the IDA had partnered with Autopia.org, yet I've seen exactly zero content/information added to the forum as a result. What happened? Did the IDA decide it didn't want the partnership after all? They're never going to expand/become relevant/gain credibility if they don't actively pursue avenues that put them in front of more people in the industry.

I agree and I'm surprised nothing from the IDA. We have no idea how they choose to operate so I guess we can only leave it at that. As for folks who make spam threads or come across as irritating by what they say, I plan to use the ignore feature and read on to something else I like.

In retrospect, I'd say that Ben runs a loose ship and is on semi-cruise mode. He has a great job! This forum isn't like it use to be where there was constantly drama left and right (unlike other detail forums) and needed attention from the administration. Great place to share and find information.

With good moderators and helpful / enthusiast members, the forum pretty much runs itself. :fish2:

I can spend my time enjoying the threads instead of policing.
