Ok well here is the deal. My ML has never been clayed before and I have a ton of klasse on #26 on there right now. My question is, am I going to have to start over when I am done claying or what? Any tips, I will be using the mothers clay bar.

Well if you see swirls than remove them with a SMR, you also remove all of the Klasse, but if you like the look of the finish after claying just wash the car than add a layer of KSG, it should work, becaus the clay will only remove some of the Klasse not all of it.

wow, reading all this stuff about clay bars is getting me excited. Im going to the local autozone to see what is available.

So i came across TWO types of lake country flat pads and i am wondering whats the difference? just to point out the obvious, im not asking about the prices. im asking about the differences in the foam if there are any...

both are 5.5 pads by the way. so if someone could shine some light on me about the differences between these two that would be great!

The foam is the same. The only real difference is that the ones that PAC carries has the constant pressure foam backing, to help absorb unwanted motion motion in your polisher.

PAC pads also have a curved outer edge, very nice when working close to edges. The velcro is recessed from the edge on the back as well.

I've been looking at the pads from PAC for a while but just haven't pulled the trigger.

I don't wanna thread jack but can anyone give reference of which LC pad= Uber pad.
