Okay, so I've spent a while on the megs forums, reading and researching, trying to grow my business....not important...onto the real question..

In every insantce they say to use DACP with a Polishing pad, WHY?! Is there harm in using it with a cutting pad? I always do and follow with SMR on a polishing pad....I get damned good results too...Heck, i've even used medium and heavy cut cleaner on a cutting pad on the PC....

So, why should a person not use DACP with a cutting pad??

depends on how bad the marring is. It may be over kill for some marring. A lot of people live by the least aggressive combo to get the job done. A cutting pad may not be needed.

I have used DACP with both cutting and polishing pads. It all depends on the condition of the vehicle's paintwork.

Cutting pads are considered aggressive and difficult to leave a haze free finish. DACP is worked properly breaks down in a such a way that you "could" just go to a las step product. To do that, you need to use it with a polishing pad.

Ahh, I have so much to learn, would it be okay to follow DACP on a cutting pad with SMR on a polishing pad? Would that remove the haze?
