What's the cost of PDR in your region

Quality of life, /// scale of labor is regionally based and can vary.

I'm just curious what PDR (paintless dent repair) runs in your part of town...

Out here in Gotham city, on the low side, $125-150 per panel (2-3) dime sized dents and no one really does a per dent fee. I can't justify PDR on a panel that has one dime sized dent....

Just curious how much the market will bear in your part of town.

25 a panel here! The market got filled with low ballers in our area! Its a shame. What was once a very high paying craft got ruined by hacks.

I guess this is one industry where insurance companies didn't ruin the prices. The flood of PDR'rs brought the price way down on the retail front, but on the Insurance end they are pretty constant in regards to the scale they pay for hail jobs. Prices depends on the size of the dent, the quantity, the type of metal and the location on the panel.

Wholesale cost in my area is $65 for the first dent and $10 per additional. Larger dents are more of course.

Some of these guys are worth their weight in gold. They're magicians who know how to work with aluminum...

I just wish there was options on per dent vs. per panel at times...

:faint:

That's insane... The guy I use charges $100 per panel WHOLESALE.

Canada...different, of course, but in the GTA it seems like ~$50 for first dent, $15-$20 each additional per panel is pretty common for retail. For insurance it all depends on the dent (or dents, in the case of hail). I'd say the price is down ~100% since ~5 years ago, but it's still a pretty good business re: margins, time, etc.

Different auto repair shop surely cost different prices,. We are not just paying for the service itself but also for the credentials on the one repairing it. Usual range here in San Francisco would be from 25-45 per dent
