What's the best website for Porsche owners?

Thanks Charlie. I saw a 2005 Boxster with new body work and 997 wheels yesterday at Costco. It had dealer plates...I don't think it is out yet....more agressive look and deluxe interior.

I haven't seen one yet...they are officially launched on Jan 15th. Early reports on it are excellent!

Hands down, the best Boxster discussion site is http://www.ppbb.com/board/986board.htm. It is one of the best communities on the Internet, and it even has an active Porsche dealership GM and an enthusiast who changed jobs to become a Porsche salesman--he gives the early scoop on everything!

Don't be shy, ask a question there and you will get lots of feedback.

Lee,

The ppbb board is good but I would also check out Renntech.org. I consider Toolpants an authority on Boxsters and 996 (he owns a Boxster).

Realize there is virtually no information on the 2005 Boxster yet because no one owns one yet. From the press reviews it looks like a fantastic car. The S will have almost the same power (15 hp less) as the 99-01 996's with less weight and a mid engine layout. Should be incredible.

For the 911, hands down it's pelicanparts. Most 944 guys hang out at rennlist, but theres a lot of 911 stuff there as well. Both great sites. I'd be lost without Pelicanparts.
