Thats the exact kit i bought!

You wont be sorry if you buy it!

They also sell everything in that kit seprately if you need more than what is in that kit. I went back the next day and bought a bunch more of the male disconnects.

:woot: :up

No intend to hijack this thread.

Those coupling, I see there's like a rubber O ring in there.. How good with this hold during a sub zero degree weather? Wont it wear out, if you quick disconnect on and off often? TIA

picked up a set for $10.99, and the nice thing about them is the LIFETIME WARRANTY! here's what it reads on the back...

ACE PROMISE SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

The Ace Promise - If this Ace product when used for it's intended purpose, fails to give you complete satisfaction, return the item to the Ace Hardware store where purchased for free replacement of the same or similiar item. :woohoo:

i doubt it, they seem pretty well made and are in there pretty good. not to mention if they did wear out, you can just buy another rubber o seal (probably are just a few cents) and stick it back inside there again...

also it's nice to know that it reads this one the back...

The lever isnt plastic, its painted brass. There is no plastic anywhere on it or the couplers.

The collar has never gotten stuck on me before and ive so far beaten the hell out of it/them.

Your issues are with another brand, not this one.

Maybe its not plastic, but I knwo for sure its the SAME brand. ACE's hardware only sells one. It comes in a set with a bunch male and female attachments...

If you have had a problem then take it back and they will replace it free of charge.

EVERY company that makes a certain product will sooner or later have at least 1 product out of so many made that fails.

Again, there is no plastic anywhere on these Ace Hardware quick discounects or shut off valves. I have beaten them pretty badly (they get smacked against the pavement DAILY) and still work the same as the day i bought them.

Dude, I'm not bashing the company. I told you, I have bought and still buy these same disconnects over and over, simply because there are tons of ACE's hardwares here in Miami and they are more accessable than ordering quality ones online... Like I said, maybe it doesn't have plastic, Im not home to check.

I gave a quick breif comment on my experience with many of them... Really not even worth the 10 seconds it took to write it, really... You'd swear it was gold by the way its being defended...

I never thought I'd get so much info on hose couplers...LOL thanks guys, cuz I was really stressed I wasn't going to invest my whole $20 bucks in the absolute best made hose couplers possible, with no plastic parts and good flow ;) LOL it's good to see some really do love their couplers.

Quality quick disconects and shut off valves make a WORLD of difference when it comes to detailing.

The reason i defend these so much is becuase 1) They can be bought OTC 2) They are VERY durable with no plastic parts 3) They flow better than any others ive found OTC (ive tried them all :lol) 4) 100% satisfaction, they replace them free of charge if they fail

Right, and I'm giving my comments on the only and SAME disconnects I have used...

iirc, they had the plastic version of these brass disconnects there as well. the brass ones are much nicer as coupe has stated...
