what's the best GPS navigation system for under $150?

thanks for all the suggestions guys. i have a dedicated tomtom gps but never really use it since most cell phones come with them and with that said, i've been using the waze app. another one is the scout gps app as well...



p.s. just got to make sure you to have it charging while driving otherwise it will drain your battery quick...
 
I prefer the Garmin products, but these days a smartphone works damn well.  If you get an actual GPS unit from any maker make sure you buy one that has free lifetime map updates and I suggest one with traffic updates too if you live in an urban area.  The traffic updates route you the fastest way based on current traffic conditions.  For Garmins look for "LMT" in the product number indicating "lifetime maps and traffic".  The unit will have a traffic receiver built into it or the charging cord.  To update the maps you plug your unit into your computer with an included USB cord and connect to the Garmin website.
