Whats pads do you use most often?

I recently bought my first car, a 1995 Mazda Protege (not my first choice I'll guarantee you that), and the first thing I would like to do to it is put in a cd player. It would be great if anyone could give some tips on what indash cd players to look for, and ones to avoid.

My suggestion to get a named brand CD player. Just don't buy any of those knock-off brands. Here's an example, "Kenwood" is a great brand, but there are actually some shops that sell "Kemwood".

Your best bet is go buy from www.crutchfield.com since they give you harness kit so you can install the stereo yourself and still get their tech support if needed.

Another route you might want to go is looking on enthusiast boards for your particular car. There are boards where members sell audio equipment for a reasonable price.



Another thing you might want to look into is the Open Box buys at Circuit City. You might be able to get a better player for a good price and still get the factory warranty.
 
alright so I'll check out crutchfield.com and open box sales at Circuit City and I wont get any "Kemwoods" *chuckle*

There are thousands of car stereo places so take your time and shop wisely.
 
I'm new to the rotary and learned using Meg 2.0 and LC flat pads. I am looking at picking up some 3m UK foam pads. Curious what the members on here use and like. Also looking for new pads to use with my PC I often use the KBM and lc flat pads but my new pads are already torn and have been using my ollder lc flat pads I'm thinkin HTpads to replace these?
 
I find myself reaching for HT pads the most followed by white LC pads. All flat, Im not a huge fan of ccs. I think its probably just what I grew up with so thats what feel comfortable
 
Angelo those are the pads I have 2 of my orange pads that have been used 2x are comming apart where the outer white velcro its like the blue portion is tearing.
Do you guys use 5.5 flat pads with both a RO and DA?
