what would you rather have/do?

you only have two options to pick from here....

routine set of the same 70 cars on a timely basis....lets say one a day, going for full correction each time...obviously after the first time, one one steps may be needed in the consecutive appointments...

OR

would you rather have anyone call you up, seeing different cars all the time...never knowing what condition the exterior/interior will be in, or what you will be charged

I guess this comes down to would you rather work on cars that dont really need to be detailed all the time, or would you rather have a lot thrown at you to test your ability?

I would love to have both. It would be great to have a steady income from the 70 cars but throwing in an extra challenge would be nice as well.

If I had to pick I would take the 70 though. It's business and you have to go where the $$$ is.

In my area, I'm aware of at least seven collectors who have more than 60 vehicles. I've worked on random vehicles (i.e. problem cars) from five of the collections. Also, I have had the pleasure of touring Jay Leno's 'garage'.

There is little or no challenge involved in caring for really pristine vehicles. Plus, having one 'boss' can be a little unnerving.

I'm very happy with the 'retail side'. I prefer the variety. For example, yesterday we did two (2) Ferraris, a 00 Dodge Stratus, a 97 Nissan Maxima, and a 03 Nissan Quest. That's an eclectic mix!
