what would you consider to be a year's worth of Zaino products?

yup, I am on the fence about this whole thing. I called Zaino this morning and spoke to Mike (I think that was his name) and while he was helpful, he was a bit curt and didn't go out of his way to sell me on the product.

what I may end up doing is ordering one of everything and just two of the 6 & 7 to see how long it lasts. I do like the Medallion system and am reminded of that everytime I look at the cars but kind of have a bug to try something new. :bounce

1- Z9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner
2- Z10 Leather in a Bottle Treatment and Conditioner
2- Z16 Perfect Tire Gloss
1- Z18 ClayBar (or use Clay magic or fave brand here)
[/b]</blockquote>
I'll probably replace my Meguair's clay bar with the Zaino or the Mothers because of what i have read here but I really like the Lexol for the leather and the Meguiar's gel for the tires. these products work well and are easy to get anywhere. furthermorem I have no burning desire to replace these with new products (for me the "if it ain't broke..." saying applies here). :D

I'm on the fence with regard to paint care and wheel cleaning. I have the wheel cleaning thing figured out and am about 80% convinced to go with Zaino versus replentishing my Meguiar's products.

Based on my first four months of using Zaino products (two cars, plus the occasional "other person's" car) here's the order I just received yesterday:

1 - Z2

2 - Z5

2 - Z6

2 - Z7

1 - Z18

1 - ZFX

1 - Z1

I plan for this to last me at least 8-10 months.

Paul:

Get 1 of each: ZFX/Z2(or Z5)/Z6/Z7 and try it out.

You can get Zaino from Steve
http://grzldvt.50megs.com/Zaino/zaino.htm
He works in North San Jose so no need to mail order. A phone call is all you need to pick up some more.

One Z2 bottle will gives you 16 coats minimum. Shoot for 20 coats. That is 2 years supply (unless you are Alee and do 20 coats in 3 months:bow )
One bottle of Zfx last 2 bottles of Z2 so it is 4 years supply.
I use 50/50 mix of Z6 after wash and it works fine too. Z6 is the best QD imho. Super slick and don't smear. You will love it when you need to clean up after a bird bomb.

Lets get started and be prepared to be impressed by Zaino. I consider Zaino a bargain when you consider the price/coats ratio.

Oh he will....1st330i is the KING of reviews....hehe

Something else to save Z shipping charges: check to see if there's a distributor near you. I lucked out, and there's a guy less than five miles from me. No more planning ahead, no more padding an order with Z6 to feel like I got my shipping $$$ worth. You can send Sal an e-mail or call him to see if there's someone in your area . . .

If there is, you can just pick up the bare minimum of products to make sure you like the system, then go from there.

Just a thought,

Tort

Edit: D'oh . . . I just realized a couple of messages up that someone else not only suggested the same thing, but gave contact info for the distributor. Hmmm, maybe I can get a job at the Department of Redundancy Department.

thanks. I'll call Steve. is he a regular poster here? I work in sunnyvale so that should be close durring business hours.

Not aware he is a regular poster here.

I work next to Mccarthy Ranch in Milpitas. Last time I ordered from him he just stopped by my office front door in his blue corvette (with 6 coats of Zaino at that time if I remember correctly).

Cheers, George.

With shipping, about $135. Worth every penny, IMHO.

BTW, I received today the CMA accessory kit for my PC, along with some MF bonnets and foam applicators and other assorted stuff (about $85, with the Autopian's discount - thank you very much).

It's supposed to be in the 60's here tomorrow and maybe 70 on Sunday. Hmmm . . . what should I do?
