what would be a polish a bit more aggresive than Optimum?

the only polish i have as of now is optimum polish. once i get my PC for xmas hopefully...i may try to polish my car..but i dont know if i can in freezing weather..even in a garage..and it might now be worth it if the winter is going to mess it up anyways..so i mine as well wait until spring.





anyways...what is a good polish that is a bit more aggresive just incase i need it. my paint isnt bad overal..just light to maybe moderate swirls and scratches. there are a few spots which will probably need a more aggresive pad and polish. what would you suggest?
 
Tommy, I like using SSR 2.5, then use Opt Polish to clean up with......Opt also has a compound available, and another good route many havent played with is adding he compound to the polish, about a 3:1 ratio to start. You can literally make your own SMR's.......

I wouldn't bother polishing now. You may have problems with the cold temperatures, and besides, your paint is likely to get some marring from winter's wrath. Wait til spring and polish the car when it's warm out. :)
 
I second Patrick's idea. Getting the compound that optimum makes will let you create many different grades of polish depending on your mixture ratio of both the polish and the compound all for the price of just the bottle of compound.
 
Poorboys SSR 2.5 or Detailers Pride Super Swirl Eliminator are my next step up from Optimum Polish.
 
I have invested in a garage heater.. one of my best purchases



I consider Meg's #83 DACP, Mez PowerGloss and its own Optimum Hyper to be more aggressive
