What wax do you recommend?

Sealants are polymers linked together., They will last as long as a wax. A acrylic will last as long. You need to make sure your surface is clean and free of oxidation

But sealants probably won't last as long as Collinite. Plus, most sealants need a base coat like an AIO. Never detailed a boat, but I'd go for Collinite 476S or equivalent.

I've never seen any that will last as long as Collinite 476S. Klasse, the classic acrylic sealant, doesn't stand a chance against 476S.

Hey guys, I was wondering how long, and how many times per year you have to polish your boat(s) with the Collinite stuff....I personally have never heard of it. The only polishes/waxes I know of are: 3M, Zaino, Leverage. Those are the first 3 to come to mind. I'm more familiar with the last one though.

Collinite has a paint cleaner but it's known more for it's wax. You polish when it needs it and wax when it needs it. Time will vary based on conditions and location. At a minimum someone would wax in the beginning of the season and then again at the end.

Honestly, I wouldn't use a wax. I would use what Sea Ray recommends, which is Yacht Brite Pro Polish. This binds with the surface, as opposed to coating the surface to protect it.
