What was your favorite new detailing product of 2013?

Not sure if it came out in 2013 but that's when I started using it.

Iron-X/speedy prep! These have saved me 1000000000000000000 hours!

Rupes polishers are awesome too!

Clay and spray! Hydro h20 is awesome! I buy 5 liters of this at a time. Can't beat it in a volume situation.

Black Ice is what I feel to be the most value I could possible give my customers on the 1 step seal jobs. My customers noticed how much better it works than what we use to use.

Guess thats more than one but all these seriously impacted my business and the way we do things!

Not sure if this qualifies....Megs M101 and Carpro Reflect.

Rupes

Bouncers CTR - maybe best looking wax I own.

1Z Colour Tec Wheel Cleaner

DLux (although it likely came out 2012 or so)

Hydro2 has been a game changer for many. I do like how quick and easy it is to use and the durability is good as well.

The products I liked best was Menzerna Power Lock, Blackfire Black Ice, and Pinnacle XMT Spray wax.

Menzerna PL seems to be superior to WG DPS and BFWD in terms of combination of looks and durability. WG has better bling though and this is what I want on metallics. I still like Mothers Carnuaba paste on my truck but Black Ice topped with Pinnacle is a great combo on black but Mothers and Pinnacle would be nice too. I plan to go back to Mothers in a few weeks when I do the spring cleaning.

For 2013, I started using detail/wax more often to keep the paint in that just detailed look rather than wondering about durability (not intended to contradict my comment on Menzerna PL). The downside of Menzerna is that I did not feel the need to get out the master blaster and did more towel drying..oh my!

For soaps, Chem Guys Honey Dew has risen good for foaming but Auto Finesse Snow Foam is a great cleaner - snow with cleaning action.

I completely agree, I've shaved over 3 ours off my time per 1 step with ironx, speedy prep an finish with hydro2.

Where did you get a 5 litre of hydro2?

Finally got above freezing today, Had to try my Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo out. I love it ! Super sudsy, Sponge glides over dirt effortlessly, great in foam gun, cleans excellent, smells great. Will be ordering more.
