What to use under VM/EX-P combo?

I've got a black SL55 to do shortly and am going to use Vanilla Moose topped with EX-P and then probably #16 on top of that. What should I use as a base for the VM? I'm thinking AIO but is it really necessary?

I'll be using #80 for swirl removal so should I then go AIO, VM, EX-P, #16 or should I skip the AIO? Or, I could skip the EX-P and top the VM with CMW? I'm basically after the wettest, deepest shine imaginable.

Decisions decisions - thoughts please! :xyxthumbs

Ben I detailed a Black S320 not long ago.

I used SSR2.5 and SSR1 followed with VM and EX-P.

It looked very wet.

Do a search on click and brag..

I'd recommend:

#80

VM

EX-P

CMW

AIO and VM would be a waste, VM has mild abrasives that would remove the AIO, and no point really in doing AIO after VM at all, with your products mentioned I'd use the VM :)

I would skip the AIO. If you need to remove any defects you could use SSR 2.5 and/or SSR 1 depending on the level of defects you need to remove. If your finish is in good shape, VM will remove any previous LSP and it is a great base for EX-P.

thats because you topped it with a softer looking carnauba

And that's what I'm planning to do as well! I also don't have any EX to hand to EX-P will have to do for now!

After #80, I'd go straight to VM and skip AIO. You *could* do it, but it won't really make much difference.
