what to use on Bronco top

I'm going to clean up my brothers oxidized 93 Bronco soon before it gets really cold. I did a small part of the door where the paint looks like it is faded and it came out really well. Anyway, I am unsure about what type of product to use for the top. It is almost like a mildly grained trim that is painted the same color as the rest of the truck (hopefully someone knows what I am talking about). Anyway, would it be better to try to apply polish / sealant to it or a product like NL or Trim Shine. If you're still reading, thanks!

I think it'd be safe just to treat it the same as you would the paint. I know what the material is that you're talking about.

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but while we're on the subject of odd material tops:

What would anyone reccomend to use on my Jeep's convertible top? I know alot of the Jeep guys reccomend simple green, but they're often a pretty crude bunch when it comes to cleaning :o

I would use soap and water then the RaggTopp System on a jeep. RaggTopp is very popular with Jeep owners.

Alright, I think I'll try PWC in a small area and if it comes off easily I'll PWC and EX-P the whole top. along with the rest of the car. Thanks for the replies.

I would reccomend a really thick, plush towel to remove the product. It just might 'get into the texture' more to remove the product from the little dimples.
