What to get??

I am debating on what to get...maybe you guys can give me some pointers.



I want to remove the orange peel from my car (99 Formula) and the wife's car (04 RX-8). I would probably end up doing dad's 2 cars (02 Vette and 01 Suburban) as well. I know I would need to wet sand to get rid of the orange peel, but then what should I use to polish from there? I don't know if a PC 7336 RO would suffice or if I should spend the little extra and get the 7428 rotary. Also what pads/product would you recommend?

Sorry I don't know about this much except in very generic ways.... try using the Search function to look up other wetsanding threads. I am sure that the kinds of products people have used to follow up wetsanding have been mentioned there.

i guess i am more concerned about which PC to get. is the roatry that much better than just the random orbit?



will the random orbit suffice for what i am trying to do
 
For this type of job you will need a rotary. The RO will not produce enough friction to be effective. As far as products needed, I can not help you but I have read that alot of people use Meg Products.
