What to do after SSR3 ?

I'm going to be ordering some Poorboys SSR3 and a 7.5" Orange Power Pad for some really stubborn problems on my car and a friend's car. My car is silver, his car is dark blue.

My question is, what should I use after SSR3 to prep the surface for an AIO application?

do I *NEED* to go SSR2.5 and SSR1 or will only the 2.5 be enough?

Also, can I go from SSR3 directly to s100 SEPC or #9 with a white CMA pad?

Cheers

Tim

Your definelty going to need to reduce the swirling 3 will cause. Its a fairly abrasive cutting product, and will leave problems if unaddressed. #2 would be a good selection, and even one step farther with #1. Theres no way you can go to a LSP after #3 !

You should try #2 or 2.5 with your pad before #3.....

I've used SSR 3, followed it up with SSR 2.5 then Tropi-Care Swirl Cutter and then applied my LSP. The results have been very good. You will defintely have to use something in between SSR 3 and your LSP product tho, as was stated above :)

If he works SSR2.5 enough he could probably get away w/ jumping to his LSP, it does break down amazingly well.

That's probably true but usually when I have a surface bad enough to need SSR3, I run through all the steps after using SSR3. 2.5 is good stuff tho.. it works really well on it's own.

well, i just ordered some SSR1, 2.5, and 3. I also got a bunch of orange and white variable contour LC pads.

Hopefully things should arrive before the september long weekend.
