What to charge 4 fleet account

I'm in the process on getting well over 1,000 fleet vehicles.

I don't want to over charge or under charge. The company has an account with local car washes, but they do a terrible job!

I would be washing the cars/trucks inside & out 2x a month, and I was thinking a full detail on them 2-3 times a year!? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Washing 1,000 cars and trucks 2 times a month would add up to taking care of 2,000 vehicles per month. That works out to 500 vehicles per week. Working 5 days a week means that 100 vehicles would be washed each day. Let's say it takes on average about 1 hour to wash and clean the inside of each vehicle. 1 hour per vehicle times 100 vehicles per day adds up to 100 hours of work per day.

Doing a full detail on 1,000 cars and trucks 2-3 times a year would add up to 2,000 to 3,000 full details a year. That works out to 40 to 60 vehicles per week. Working 5 days a week means that 8 to 12 vehicles would be detailed each day. Let's say it takes on average about 4 hours to do a full detail of each vehicle. 4 hours per vehicle times 8 to 12 vehicles per day adds up to 32 to 48 hours of work per day.

In summary, it looks like you have got a total of about 132 to 148 hours a day of washing and detailing.

:shocked Well that settles that now doesnt it - - If I were you I would look to hire and (higher) help - start prayin for more hours in a day, for the money your going to be making off this account you can afford to do it. At a low rate of $10 per vehicle for a wash that is $10,000 a month - $100,000 a year just to simply wash them. Get a good powerwasher or foam gun setup...create a line where people have their own duties...And be prepared for no free time. Money wise it is a great opportunity...however you may not have the requirements to fulfill this account yet.

Thanks for the info guys! I have all the equipment, I have to prepare for the time consumption + the help I will need.

Please keep the helpful/informative information coming... :xyxthumbs
