I have detailed my car many times, as well as a few other cars.

I don't have time to wait for shipping, nor the money to pay for shipping, and the overpriced product itself. I'm happy with the selection I have open to me, without paying for shipping or getting ripped off.
 
Megs endurance gel lasts long and is pretty shiny, don't rub up against your tire while wearing light colored pants. It is though, a pain in the a$$ to get off and will gunk up your tire brushes bad.

If you're the type that washes their car once a week (like your's truly) then avoid it but if you wash it once ever 3-4 weeks then give it a try. in my experience it's lasted through, rain, coin-op car wash brushes, a blast from meg's APC - they're not kidding when they say endurance. I believe the stuff is available at pep boys and your regular retail auto parts places.

I went to Mothers FX when running low on another product and it didn't last after the first snow,tried again and it rained a couples days later again not long at all on durabilty. Shine/Gloss was nicebuy i don't think those 2 factors will be enough for me to buy another bottle when i'm out. I did buy some PB's BNB and like i the sheen as well,I have not look close at it's durability..
 
I have tried many of the tire dressing and gels and happened to get a free can of the Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Dressing Aerosol version and absolutely love it. It is very easy to apply and seems to last a good amount of time and the cleans off pretty easy with the Westley if you want to strip the tire down and start over.

I apply after every wash so I don't worry to much about durability since I wash at least once a week. it's very inexpensive so weekly applications does not bother me. I have had better results with durability than you are reporting though.
 
I haven't checked in here in weeks, but I went with the Meguiar's High Endurance Gel and a Foam Swipe. It's top notch.

Refilled my 303 bottle with it. Simply blew 303 away......

Could you elaborate on FK 108?
How does it compare to 303 or NL? Did you use it on interior only?
I have been considering trying this for a while. I am really liking the FK-350 on tires.

I'm guessing you bought the 350, by the gallon. The 108 is a bit more pricey. I had some discoloration on part of the weatherstripping on my 05` Taurus. 303 did nothing to penetrate & correct. The 108 actually penetrated the rubber enough to bring the color back, and left a nice gloss. I don't have before pics, but i could post some after. I applied it friday, at 39 degrees. I imagine a warmer temp., would yield better results. I also applied #2180 to the paint. The next day it snowed, and now it is 10 degrees. Still looks ok. I recieved my products Thursday, so Friday, I jumped outside, and had to try them, even though snow & cold was in the forecast. I did not have time + the cold.. to do my interior. I only did the tires, and weather stripping.

Enclosing a shot, will get a better one later, but you can see the gloss holding up after a snowstorm, and temp of 10 degrees...
 
I only have a 4 oz sample of 350. I used about an ounce three weeks ago and all 8 tires still look pretty good. I will probably order a gallon since it doesn't come in smaller sizes. The stuff seems to dry instantly and has a med. sheen.

I can't tell from the 108 description if it is more like black again (polymer for exterior trim) or 303 for interior trim. Those FK descriptions can be a little strange.

Have you used 108 for interior plastics or just tires? Seems sort of pricey for just tires.

I just got it thursday, with the weather I didnt get a chance to do the interior, just the tires and weatherstripping. I bought the 32oz bottle in the consumer section. But like I stated earlier, you need a smaller bottle to pour it into, I can't wave a 32oz bottle around to detail a interior, etc. It came with a sprayer, however.
 
i use ardex-i.c.b.i.n.s.-it stands for i can't believe it's not silicone. shines like silicone based but totally body shop safe. it doesn't last as long but worling at a dealer with a boby shop it is a must to use.
