"What Swirl Marks?"

I detailed a black truck about a month ago that was oxidized enough that it looked grey. I used Klasse AIO on half the hood and then stood back in amazement at how freaking good it looked. I wish I had a camera for that one. Does anyone have any good pics of before and after type stuff? A picture says a thousand words and sometimes there aren't words to describe the picture.

I want to find a truck like that and only detail half of it. (The driver's half of course) I think it would be a great advertisement for my business if people saw what a real life before and after job looks like. I would Klasse the crap out of one half of it and leave the other half to rot. :) It would be hard to see one side of the truck suffering like that but I think I'd get used to it.

go to crap...i could see if its your point to get your customers to see a big difference like that...but it would take lots of dedication to let it go or...even leave it totally alone while u keep the other side Klasse'd....maybe if u found someone who didnt give to much attention to their car and start from there....one of the biggest problems youi would have is the "Pain" that we all feel wehn you see a swirl or a scratch...i mean that pain would be nothing if your talking about oxidation and worse... good luck:up

My first experience with Klasse AIO + SG was on a 1995 Rodeo with 78,000 mile on it. I was blown away by the results!

Keep in mind that the angle of these photos are unfortunately different, and the lighting also enhanced the after photos...

After seeing these pics again, I just have to say WOW again. I don't think it can get much better than that when it comes to before and after pics. Laters

Klasse really brought out the RED.......

The only before / after pics I have were ones posted here. Pics taken on the same day after a coat of Z5 (also note that angles and lighting should be considered for a fair comparison)

Wow, Z5 not only removes all swirls but it also washes your car!!

Hehe, DK, just kidding ;) I saw the disclaimer. Just saying that's a great after pic but it doesn't go at all with the before pic. BTW, 4th pic is absolutely gorgeous.

:D Dk...nice job there...i never saw that post before...the first 2 pics are not a totally different angle...maybe the first 1 is from higher...but closer than the last 2....nice job ...man black and red....those colors clean up nice...even though the black is a killer....:)

I think this is the link that Short Cut was trying to post . . .

If you'd like to post a link to a thread, it takes a little more work with the new framed layout of the forums; here's how to do it:

While viewing the thread you want to link to, right-click somewhere on the background in the frame that contains the body of the posts (make sure the mouse isn't over a link or a button when you do this). From the menu that pops up, select "Open Frame In New Window". The window that pops up should contain the thread of messages, but without the Autopia banner at the top. The address bar of the new window contains the URL that you can use to link to the message.

The pictures DK posted are of my mom's TL, which was in bad shape (a '99 bought in December 98 that has been washed -MAYBE once every 1 to 2 months in an auto car wash, NEVER been waxed or protected to any extent). You can browse the whole set here . Or, I have some pictures of my friend's S4 here.

Both cars received the following prep:
1. Dawn wash
2. Clay with Mother's clay and Meguiar's QD as lubricant

Then, both received:
1. Zaino Z1
2. Zaino Z5
3. Zaino Z6 right after removing the z5 (which I no longer do).

Yes, I know the angles are not the same...my intention when taking the pictures was not to duplicate before and after. But, the results were outstanding nonetheless. The z5 worked AWESOME at hiding the swirls...next time I detail those cars (it has been 6 months now), I will use some abrasives before protectant.
