Yeah no open toed shoes w a pressure washer for me. Been doing it 20 years huh? Very sweet, full time or on the side kinda thing? I wish i could make a better living doing this...so hard to keep consistent business coming

20 years full time. Te downturn in the economy since 2008 has kicked the crap out of sales and I almost went looking for a job last year but decided to stick it out. Things are already looking up for this year. Being in Canada makes it tough to sell detailing with a foot of snow on the ground! LOL

I second the crocs. I find a nice pair of black ankle socks are the best way to go with them. Keep an extra pair of socks handy. I cant stand having wet feet either but a fresh change of socks and its all good.

You arent going to pick up chicks wearing em, but lets face it, the scenario of showing up to a persons house, a hot chick answering the door and saying "ooooo I have been waiting for you to get your hands on my interior forever and my husband wont be home for hours" just doesnt happen outside a porno.

Welllllll this thread just took a funny turn! lol, thumb up for the extra pair of socks though.

Yeah i can see how it could kick the crap out of anyone. Glad you were able to stick it out. So in your 20 years...what do you find to be your biggest overall money maker. I mean if i could, id do a full polish out everyday...thats my preference, but like you said about the economy, not everyone has the $ for it, and even those that do..not all of em want to have the polish out done. So just wondering what the bulk of your income comes from
