What`s your favorite coating removal towel?

Rag Company Edgeless 300, CarPro 2 Face, CarPro 2Face Lite.

I`ll be ordering some Autofiber Quadrant and Utility towels to try them out in the near future.

I got so many of the older Pakshak towels that I don`t remember the weight of them but they been work great!

I still have some soft 100% cotton towels I bought back in the pre-microfiber days and cut the edges off.

The Rag Company Pearl Edgeless (or similar design) for initial mopup - removes at least 10% more of the film with one pass than any other towel I`ve used, then buff to perfection using higher pile towel.

I am a bit of a towel snob, so anything that isn`t edgeless and korean doesn`t cut it for me.

How do you like the 2face lite overall? God for sealant and wax removal also?

Time to find a Pearl replacement then....

Another towel i think will be great and will give a shot when I do my next coating is The Cobra Forrest Green or equivalent color. The are stout but soft and low nap. Been reaching for them more for sealant/wax removal.

Think they’ll be great for coatings

Nice and good price. Was just commenting as the pearls are Chinese.

I use to be a korean towel only guy too till i started comparing and found some from china i like as well.

China has some of the best tooling in the world. The produce some of the best and worst quality stuff out their it depends on what the buyer orders.

If the TRC will put their name on it’s gotta beca good towel.

I’ve actually had some korean made 70/30 that won’t touch my paint...... and no bias I’m half from their.

If i can find those on US Ebay i’ll have to give them a try.

A towel I would not recommend are the IGL coating towels. They are not that good.

The pearl is ok. I tried them and I am glad I ended up using the one`s that I had without investing in anymore. They load up to fast with coating and they start smearing around coating.

Unfortunately you are asking the wrong guy about using a wax or sealant. I have not touched either in a long time. But they work well for coatings, polish removal, interior wipe downs. A nice multi-purpose towel.

Not to thread jack but figure this question doesn’t deserve it’s own thread.....

How many towels do you use For initial removal and secondary wipe Sizzle?

Others who have done lots of coatings would be interested to here the numbers.

I`m using some Ragg Co green edgeless low nap towels now. (I think they are Ragg Co) I have a ton of them, but always looking to try something else.

I`m using around 2 dozen + towels per coating job. Don`t keep track of how many for initial wipe/final wipe.

Do you toss them?
