What products to buy first?

I'm about to order my PC in the next week or two, just need to know what i should get to go along with it.

Things ill need:

The pads (which ones? yellow, white, grey etc)

A swirl remover/compound something? (such as DACP?)

A Polish

Paint Cleaner

Sealant

Carnuba

Basically wondering what are good products to start out with. Are those all the basic categories or are there more that im missing. Ill be detailing my moms 99 suburban (pewter) and my dads 99 A4 (light silver). Trying to get some practice in so i know exactly what im doing with my truck in a couple weeks. Also where is the cheapest place to get all this stuff?

thanks

*EDIT* also what MF towels should i get? i was thinking of getting a few from PakShak but i dont want to break the bank quite yet as im 18 and pretty broke. What would be some good starter towels

The pads (which ones? yellow, white, grey etc) 2 of each

A swirl remover/compound something? 3M fine cut or DACP, i perfer the 3M

light polish- Meg's SMR 2.0 or 3M PI-III machine glaze

Paint Cleaner- i'd go with a clay instead like mother's clay

Sealant- up to you. Zaino, Klasse, Wolfgang all pretty good

Carnuba- s100 or Meg's #16 or #26 PASTE

www.autogeek.net or www.detailersparadise.com or autopia are pretty cheap

I believe the 7336 and 7424 are one in the same.

That is a really good kit, the 1z polishes are very easy to use. Those PC pads will hold up at first but you will want more later when you get more products.

Good places to get towels are pakshak, autofiber, and the autopia store. At autogeek and autofiber you can get a 10%discount for typing "autopia " into the coupon code box.

The kit from Detailer's Paradise is a good deal and has most everything you need. Pick up a claybar, wax or sealant of choice, and some MF towels from any of the Autopia regulars.

There is no difference in those PCs.

alright good deal lets see, think i could be in "for starters" for around $300? i think id like to try out the Klasse twins, with the above mentioned PC kit, and then pick up a few MF towels and maybe a carnuba. thanks

Yes, you could get started for $300.

From Pak Shak, I recommend a minimum of 3 or 4 Ultra towels, 1 Ultra Fine towel, and 1 or 2 Waffle Weave towels. From the Autopia Store, I recommend 1 or 2 Concours Buffing Towels. That would start you out pretty good for towels for about $40-$50.

Klasse makes good products. Just do lots of reading and looking and figure out what best suits your needs.
