What products do you carry in your car for those "detailing emergencies"?

A couple of weeks ago I had the 'gasoline incident' and last week my car got hosed by the sprinklers at a hotel. Luckily this time I was armed with some super plush microfiber towels and Detailer's Pro Series Waterless Auto Wash (this has been a LIFE SAVER twice).

Is there anything you keep in your vehicle to deal with potential car care hazards?

Ultima Waterless Wash in a finger spray bottle and a couple pakshak ultra plush towels. If that can't handle it I just wait until I get home.

  1. 1 ounce of Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate in 30 ounces of water makes a great detailing spray and quick waterless wash.
  2. Optimum spray Car Wax
  3. Microfiber towels

I always keep a container of MF towels and some ONR. That pretty much covers the emergencies. I am currently on vacation and on the drive the other day I was behind someone who decided to empty a bottle of sprite out their window at 85mph. Of course I had just washed my car since it had just received a good dousing from Irene. I think I got about an hour of having a clean car.:wall Haven't had an opportunity to clean it yet and it's killing me. I'm gonna have to find a coin op wash to rinse, then use my spray bottle of ONR as a QD.

I carry my Flex, power inverter to power the flex, a bag of MF towels, a bucket, car wash, 100 ft hose, QD, assortment of polishes, P21s wax...

Just kidding.

In my late street car I use to carry Speed Shine and MFs. Now with the Disco a detail emergency is thinking mud is only 12" and ends up 20". At that point I hope it ends up less than 1/2" on the windows so I can still get it off carefully. Just polished it for it's next adventure. I have to do a write up when it is covered with an inch of mud on the roof lol.

I think I've posted the pics of my emergency kit before (note these are very old pics and I've changed the products I carry somewhat over the years):

Just a few select chemicals, some applicators, latex gloves, a screw driver and razor scraper, MF towels, and shop rags.

I bet some poor theif would be greatly dissapointed when realized thats all that was in there!:D

Hydro and MF Towels.

It's safe on glass, chrome and paint and removes everything but dents, which I don't get because I don't park near other cars.

Todd, I don't frequent hotels that don't offer indoor parking. :)

Gee, compared to that display, I look like an amateur . . . oh wait I am an amateur!!
Anyways, this is the kit I made up a few years ago to carry in the Vee, though like Shiny, I've changed out a few products over the years.
