$9.50 does not sound bad, since every other place is charging around $20 I wonder if this is some kind of knockoff?:confused:
 
I have ordered from neat items ,it shipped today and will post on abay on monday. I want to see if I could group the Aqua pel and the towels together. Monday I will know from Ron K if its a go or not but, NI mf's are on the way.
 
Some one correct me please....... Didn't RON K state that the STP vision stuff was the same stuff???? And did not someone elses state they found some of this stuff for $9.50??



You may want to check that out before a group buy on something most could get pretty cheap already.
 
I checked the price... $9.50 for individual tubes. I think he would do a case but I didn't get a price. He said he just put Aquapel on his site last week and after getting 10 orders today alone, he was already ordering more supply. I put my order in for 3 tubes...



His main business is truck washing/detailing and metal polish. He has some other products listed, but not much info on them.

I'm not sure if Ron said it but I read a message board post from someone working for PPG that STP VisionBlade is the same stuff.

I searched around and didn't find a place to buy VisionBlade online, anyone else have luck? I only tried a couple of search engines and didn't spend too much time...

If he is any kind of a bussiness man ,I think he is working on at least 40% or more. Just a guess ,I think they cost $4.50 each. We will find out Monday.
 
I'm sure the guy is making some money on the deal, but it is certainly less than the $19.50 to $20 that the other sites are asking! If the group can buy it and do the shipping and all for less, then obviously that will be best. I think the shelf life for this stuff must be pretty long because the catalyst is seperated from the other chemicals. You have to break a small glass tube within the tube to activate it...that is why you have to use it up for that one application. Ron, please correct me if I'm wrong. I will probably stock up on it if we can get a better deal, since it is a maintenance item, every 3 to 4 months.



Did you get a price yet for a case?

Here is a note from Marv at Speedy regarding Aquapel:

I know it's very common, and we try do the same thing, try to find the people at the top and save some money. One thing we do is not to rip our coustomers off. What it seems like however is that ethical people seem to finish last.

What I am going to do is that if your people want to buy by the case of 24 or more the price is $9.00 ea and we will pay the shipping anywhere in the USA

So here is an opportunity to do a group buy. I'm not sure about the economics of this, since buying directly from Speedy is $9.50 per tube with about $1 shipping. The savings for a group buy at $9 (before redistribution and shipping costs) would be relatively minimal. Since I have no other distributors to go by other than those charging double this price, I think Speedy would be the best place to get Aquapel from at this time! That is unless Ron can make a group buy a better deal with a wholesale price by the case....



In the meantime, I have a some Aquapel on the way from Speedy and will post a review as soon as I can.

If he ships to 24 seprate people , its sounds OK, but if 1 person buys the case and then has to ship to 24 people, you might as well buy 1 for 10.50 from him.



I will talk to Ron on Monday and post asap. I am running a group buy on mf's on abay and I think 1 Aqualpel in the mf box would not bring the weight up so the shipping should be the same. So in other words there would be no shipping on the AP cause you have already paid for it in the mf buy.
 
Got the Aquapel today...that was fast service!!! I probably won't get around to applying it until tomorrow though. It comes with instructions but if anyone has any tips it would be appreciated. I will keep this updated as it happens, sorta like EYEWITNESS NEWS......

Ron says the AP is coming,I am waiting to find out what shipping is to me. If you get in on the Neat Items group buy I am sponsoring, I don't think 1 Aquapel will bring the weight up, so there is no shipping. But I can't say for sure. NI group buy is on abay.
