I love Maltese! No shedding and you don't need a Bobcat to pick up their poop! :D

They do bark a lot though, mine is hyper as can be, and he will lick you to death! :)

I have one (Gizmo), my mom has his brother (Sammy), and my sister has one from the same mother (Baby)

We have 2 Purebred AKC Registered German Shepherds; 1 - East German, 1 - West German.

The East German is all business, heavily muscled, very strong bite grip, and allows no one into the yard unless you are on the list. Totally no nonsense, very loyal.

The West German is also a very good watch and guard dog, but sometimes is more interested in her hair, than doing her job. :)

I have a pic of both of them at their private island kennel; just have to figure out how to post it.

very cool  it is nice that they don't shed (my dad has allergies), but they are semi high maintenance and require getting a haircut/nail clipped every few months (we shave them and leave a teddy bear face with the tale a little longer) and it's nice that they also potty train pretty easy (they do their business on newspapers). the funny thing is when we first got them they slept in a funny position that i hadn't seen before (on their backs with their legs in the air) and still do LOL. i still get a good chuckle when i see it... :D
