what make of car & how many miles do you have?

white 92 mitsubishi galantvr4 210k and going

black 95 honda accord 250k and going

burgandy 00 lexus gs300 100k just getting started

2007 Ford Falcon XR6 Ute with about 75Km soon to be changed to a Holden Crewman SS ute for the extra seating for the school drop offs in the mornings.

2000 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd with about 175Km also very soon to be changed to a Ford Explorer (seven seats for expanding family) approx 2005 project vehicle.

Wow, some of the cars you guys have are really low-mileage compared to my four:

2003 Lexus GS430 -- 114,000 miles

2001 Acura CL-S - 113,000 miles

2001 Suburban LT -- 163,000 miles

2001 Taurus 24v -- 161,000 miles

I always like seeing the higher-mile vehicles listed. My wife and I just don't drive all that much these days, plus the miles we do drive are divided up among a few different vehicles...only the '00 A8 is over 100K.

2003 BMW 745Li - 80k miles

Wow, I'm late at answering this. it's the 2000-2007(?) Tahoe.

Eh, I figured it might be a while before you revisited this thread :D

OK, you have the newer version, lucky you (unless you like/wanted the older one for some weird reason like I did).

I asked because *some* 2000 Tahoes are the "old body style" (and the body's not the only thing that's the old version!) while most are the newer one. My '00 Tahoe *should* be like yours and like my '04 Yukon XLD according to most sources, but it's not. And yeah, my window sticker/owner's manual say "2000" :nixweiss Makes for a hassle when I'm ordering parts for it, I usually just say it's a '99.

03 GMC Yukon Denali- 171,000 Miles. Original engine and transmission

01 GMC C3- 189,000 Miles. Original engine and transmission

01 GMC Sonoma 4 cyl- 322,000 Miles. Original engine and transmission

95 Impala SS (Sold but missed) 81,000 Miles

S&S Detailing- Hey, glad to hear the drivetrain in the GMCs can be so long-lived! That was my favorite year for the Chevy B-bodies too :D

Thanks! Ya I have to say I would never buy a new Impala, front wheel drive and Yuck!!! I miss that car in the summer, but in the winter it was just a Garage queen so I'm likin the YUkon

S&S Detailing- Hehe heh, at least you're kinda sensible about this stuff; I miss my 9C1 Caprices so much that I'm currently doing a Crown Vic :o Shoulda just kept the last Caprice...

But yeah, the Yukon D is a great ride. Would you believe I'm using the Klasse twins on the rubber faces of the running boards and rear bumper?!? That beast is such a job to do, all that black paint.

Is yours a "straight" black or the metallic Carbon color like mine? Can't tell from the pics..

Oh, I notice that black "GMC" on your grille :D Mine's still red, but I've debadged the rest of it (actually, ebpcivicsi did it for me when he did my PPF).

I know what your saying, it was a pain to get all that paint shining! And the previous owner just tore the heck out of the paint! It is just the "straight" black, I wish it was white honestly, haha

Yeah, mine was awfully "used" too  ebpcivicsi and I have cut the paint just about to the "never correct it again" point but it's finally looking the way I want it.

And yeah, I hear you on the "wish it were white"! Got my latest projects (the '00 beater-Tahoe and the '01 Crown Vic) in silver and white respectively, just so I won't go nuts over them the way I do the YXLD!

BluBrett- You use the Tahoe much or mainly drive the Acura these days?

My '00 Tahoe is just sitting at the dealership while I sort out a title issue related to the original owner

Your '94 is practically a trailer queen compared to the other two. Nothing like a 300sd for racking up miles, though. My in-laws had an '83 that they sold years ago to a guy that lived in the same neighborhood. At last count, he had passed 500k, and the interior still looks like new according to them.

My cars have either 117k or 164k on them :)

'01 Taurus 24v -- 164k

'01 Suburban LT -- 164k

'01 Acura CL-S -- 117k

'03 Lexus GS430 -- 117k
