What kind of non-monetary perks do you get from customers?

Buffalo Bills tickets, Buffalo Sabre tickets, Dinner at many restaurants. We actually had a customer make us homemede Manaconti. We have also received donuts, coffee and Burger King

Might not compare to game tickets.. or payment from girlfriends or wives.. but the best non-monetary tip i've gotten has been a free lunch.. home cooked, nicely prepared beef macaroni... mmmm.. working 4 hours on a car and then have lunch served.. better than a monetary tip in my opinion..

She has thereafter been aptly named "Lunch-giver Lady"

and then of course other clients always give us a big 2 liter bottle of coke or a gallon of water to drink while we detail..

PathfinderGuy-In the summertime, most of my customers implore me to raid the fridge in the garage so I stay hydrated. I do have an ice chest loaded with caffeine and sugar free soda and usually a bottle or two of water, but it is always nice to have another option!

I was offered a 7-day norwegian cruise to the Bahamas. I am unable to get the time off from my full time job so I turned it down. There will be other tips.

I think the best besides this is phone messgae i received from a client going on for a couple of minutes about how impressed they were.

Perks?

Well I get free health care for myself and family pretty much, so that's kinda cool I guess.

I've only had to pay for shots or bloodwork (one of my kids is ADHD and needs to have the level of iron in his blood monitored once a year) for about 8 years now because I have a customer who is a doctor. Free Flonaise and Claritin during ragweed season too. Probably helps that other than colds or the occasional mild case of the flu, I haven't been sick in about 30 years. My kids are the same way, so I've never really tested my doctor's limits when it comes to freebies. ;)

I detailed my friend's Vette in excahnge for his installation of my drive belt. Got some cigars once too.
