What kind of mf towel for S&W

any mf that is soft and absorbant will do...the new 12 x 24 WW are nice, the mega-plush are real good when there's a bit more dirt, and for final wipe downs, my favorites are the 21 x 36 Velvet smooth....Ranney also has a great selection:)

For S&W, I like the mega plush. Never tried to WW but I find the Velvet Smooth has too short of a nap for my preference with S&W - I love it for buffing off wax or other lsp.

Obviously there are other opinions. :D

Do you think the velvet smooth glass towels would be any good(even though I would use this on paint)? I see that buying three comes with some free S&W.

I use the velvet smooth on glass and it works well. I'm a bit paranoid about low nap/dirt, so I use as plush as I can on "dust/dirt/fingerprints......" but for a final wipe to get streak free, I don't see why it wouldn't work well.

I use a plush MF ... The dirt seems to pull into the towel fibers and at least in my mind that makes it safer for the paint.

I use a WW with great success. The last time I used it I had to go over the car 5 times, but I think that was due to salt embedded in the UPP. I probably sworled the crap out of it, but that's what SSR 2.5 is for, right?

Back to the subject. I have the cobra WW, but the Poorboy's towels are very high quality, and you should get great results with any of them, especially the WW, or the mega-plush. You might also want to try the MF chamois, I think Steve still has extras in the warehouse sale. I haven't used it, but I heard that it was VERY absorbent, so it would work well for S&W duty.
