What kind of convertible top do I have?

I recently bought a 99 Convertible Corvette. I am having trouble finding out what type of top I have (vinyl vs cloth). Even the dealership wasn't sure! Anyone have any idea about this from past experience. According to the Classic Motoring Acc site, it could be either type for that year.

I have information from the top manufacturer about conv. top care, but before I post it i want to make sure its still accurate because of CMA's current newsletter. Try posting this on corvetteform. com Those guys know it all! Let us know!
 
You have a corvette and you expect the dealer to know anything about it except how to take your $$ and go HUH we don't have a clue. Your lucky they don't think it's a chevette. YUK YUK! I have 1 too and since it's out of warranty I will never take it to the dealer. They all SUCK.

Try corvetteforum.com bunch of good guys over there, that's how I got here.

I don't know but isn't that something you would be able to determine from feel? I've felt cloth ones before and I would expect the vinyl ones to feel different.
