What is your favorite QD?

I am looking at switching to a new QD and I wanted to see what everyone else's favorites are. I am mainly deciding between the following four:



Meg. Final Inspection

Mothers Showtime

Speed Shine (Griots)

Quick Shine (Clearkote)



I forgot to mention. Let's say price isn't an issue.
 
depends on what you are going to use it for...i use Megs Final Detail for emergencies (bird nukes, etc.) i use Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl Instant Detail Spray inbetween waxes....and i use Sonus High Gloss Acrylic Spritz inbetween SG coatings.



Back to your list though ive only used FI, Showtime and Quik Shine out of those three i dont really like any of them. If i had to choose though i would pick Quik Shine.
 
I've had some hazing which were untouched by either eimann fabrik clear pearl or by eagle one wet wipe and shine.. However, they seemed to be filled by clearkote quickshine... I'm going to wait until the next wash for the qd to wash off and the haze to reappear to try again and see if it was just my imagination or what.

I'm a big fan of Final Inspection or Platinum Gloss Enhancer. Regular Meguiar's Quick Detailer is really good too. The only thing I end up using QD or FI for is removing SG. I use GE for my car when I've got those water drips after I wash it or stuff like that.
 
I am the director of a budding new detail center in Cambridge, Mass. It has become my job to try out new products to use on customer cars. I am constantly lookking for products that are quick, easy touse, and do what they say they will. After trying Linal Inspection, Final Detail, Mequiars Detailer, Mother's Showtime, Zymol Detail Spray and other "pro" supplies, I am absolutely in love with Clearkote Quick Shine. It is the only product I've tried where I called Everett directly and ordered the product twice because our sample got udsed up in one day!! We were trying it on everyone's car! I keep a bottle in my trunk at all times... I haven't found anything it can't handle. We are now keeping a spray bottle outside our service counter so that when we bring a customer car up for them to pick up, we grab the bottle and an MF and do a quick wipe down as they come out to recieve their car..the effect is great! Customers always reach out and touch the finish..beacause they're impressed, but the QS feels so good..they all love it. I can't say enough about this product. I've now given old spray bottles of our old stuff to some of the mechanics in our shop. Hey, when a product works, and works well...we use it.
 
Clearkote's Quikshine. Awesome product. Definitely worth the extra $$$ it cost compared to other QDs. Great for my regular wash customers because I can go over their car with Quikshine and it looks and feels like I just waxed it.

BTW, this forum is for reviews of products, not questions. I see you're a newcomer. :welcome If you'll read the "stickies" at the top of each forum page, that will give you a better idea of the "scope" of each forum. Tons of info about products and techniques has been posted here, so you'll find that the search function is also very helpful.

I'm definitely a fan of the Meguiars Final Detail. I use it on my bumpers, wheels, paint, trim, engine and door jambs. It smells nice, works extremely well, leaves a slick finish, enhances shine and it's $18/Gallon.:xyxthumbs

Yeah I def like the smell, it is wax free though right? I'm thinking about using Clearkotes quickshine for me inbetween wash QDing jobs and then Meguiars Final Detail for misc usage.
 
I like Zainos QD the best out of all of them. I use it on my car and use FI on the clients vehicles. I wish it came in bigger bottles though I go through 3 a summer and in the winter I am lucky to wash the car once a week too cold!





I really was not that impressed with the clearkote QD. I didnt think it offered any thing more than anyone else out there. THe only product I have gotten from Clearkote that I like is the vanilla moose.
 
I'm a big fan of Clearkote's Quik Shine myself. Everyone in the club that I've turned on to it says the same thing.
