What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this is and caused from?

Sorry the second pic isnt to clear. They seem to be many of them on the hood of my truck and it seems to be the only place that has them. I noticed a few before but now it is fustrating to see the whole truck looking great till you get to the hood. What can I use to remove them or does it have to be repainted? :ticked :ticked Thanks.

I saw them and now they are gone:eek

that looks like it's under the clear and repainting it is you only option ...I have a small area like that on my Tahoe.:nono it hasn't changed a lot over the 4 years we've had thetruck but if it bothers you:dunno

The warranty is already expired and I checked for a recall but no luck. When I went to the dealership, the body shop manager said it was just alot of rock chips were toghether. So to say the least they dont know jack .
