Can you guys help me out ???

I have a new 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup and I am looking to

Find the best (Polish / CARNAUBA WAX combo) to get my

white paint as reflective and mirror like as possible. I know there

are a lot of great sealants out there, But I just still enjoy using a

good old nuba wax. I have used and have m-16, blitz wax and m-26.

But I have heard many good things about S-100 and collinite carnauba.

So what do guys recommend as the most reflective carnauba.

Thanks…….BMG

As much as the package states it, don't get gold class. If you're looking for the best shine, for the money you can't beat NXT. If you want durability you want collinite. Since you're new to detailing, we'll just get this out of the way now. 90% of the shine is in your polishing not the wax/sealant. You can top with cheapo green turtle wax and it'll look amazing if you've polished the car to absolute perfection.

Looks like you are already using Meg 16 which is my favorite for white cars. :2thumbs:

I haven't found anything that matches the glow that 16 puts on white.

I'd lean towards the #16 too. Some other waxes are in the "highly reflective" category (e.g., P21s was *too* reflective for my taste on the Jag), but #16 has that visual *and* good durability/dirt-shedding. Since #16 and P21s/S100 are *so* similar in appearance, the #16 seems almost like a no-brainer for this one.

I don't find Collinite 845 or 476S all that "bright and reflective" in the sense we're discussing here.

FK1000P is more of a sealant, but they do call it a "high temp wax" and it's kinda like a tin of paste wax. If *I* were doing a white vehicle that 's what I'd use, noting that I have all these other LSPs on the shelf too...but that's just me.
