What is the deal with ZYMOL users?

Quote: Boy, I sure hope Souveran is outstanding. $70 is a pretty good chunk of change to me.

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

With Zanio Z-5 use Souveran Paste Wax as a final product on red, black or Porsche yellow it produces a deep wet shine

Outstanding? I think so

~Hope this helps~

I didn't find anything wrong with this thread at all. He was just showing some enthusiasm for Zymol... In fact, even after AccordGoob pissed on his enthusiasm, he took it in stride.

If anything, it was AccordGoob and all his carnauba melting point talk that sounded arrogant.

Damn accordgoob.

Edit: I apologized. I was sounding really arrogant. So I offered some advice for Zymol that I bet would make him even happier with his results. :)

Oh, I didn't know you were accordgoob!

After reading it again, you didn't sound bad at all!

:( I should have just given him advice to make it look even better with the use of Zymol. But since he wants to spend all his time applying wax like it's preparation H I don't know if he'll want to spend the extra time on it.

:)

Scott,

What are your thoughts on Souveran? I have been thinking about trying it but, am a little hesitant due to the cost.

Bob-nothing beats it on black paint. A few come close but on properly prepped paint, Souveran is the best to my eye. Very liquid look.

I gave PS a stab this evening over AIO, and it looks like someone poured melted butter on my car, particularly in the setting afternoon sun. Gee its a good wax, well worth the expense especially for dark cars, and it smells great aslo!

I didn't have good results with Zymol. I switched to Meguiars NXT.:bounce

I used it once before, it didn't come out as well as I hope for. Maybe my car wasn't good enough! lol

rjstaaf: I think Souveran is on sale right now. Very, very good. As Scott said, it is the bomb on black! S100 and P21S come pretty close, but... Souveran over Klasse Twins. That's all you need!

Damn! I sound like some sorta Z user!

Jim

I have used the Zymol car shampoo when I've been out of my favorites (P21s and Sonax). And I've used it when washing other people's cars. It doesn't do a bad job...and you gotta admit the smell is great! Smells like it should be in a glass with a little pink umbrella in it...:D

However I don't think I'd ever pay $40 (or more) for Zymol carnauba. Not when P21s does such a magnificent job!

My favorite, however, is Sonax Gloss Shampoo! Glad I stocked up on that stuff...!

What a beautiful Bimmer! Wish I had one...:sosad

SOUVERN IS IN A LEAGUE of its own.NOW durability is another question..........................

:nixweiss I got at least 10-12 weeks on a customer's black Excursion with Souveran a couple of years ago. May have gone a bit longer, but he wanted it waxed again. I'm sure if you have acid rain or fallout in your area you'd get less though.
