My current ride, a 2012 Camaro 1LT 3.6L (217 CI)V6 that is putting out close to 340 HP with the light mods I have done to it.

My first car was pretty cool but it was a rust bucket. 1971 Chevy Impala 350 CI 2dr with side pipes. There was no detailing that car unless you had tetanus shots. :lol2:

Currently driving a 2010 Mustang GT but the one I'd like back is a 1957 red and white two door hardtop Ford Fairlane 500 with a 312CID Thunderbird engine. I bought it used in 1965. Joined the service in 1966 and sold it to buy an engagement ring for my ex-wife. I want the car back - not the wife.
 
so far this is the 'coolest' car i've owned. although i will have a single turbo upgraded supra one day 2JZ baby!

God I love Rx7's! I'm not in to imports but the body lines of this car are sooooo awesome. I've always wanted one, but couldn't ever find the right one. Either wrong color or beaten on.

I think my current car is pretty cool. It's a 2006 Saleen Mustang Supercharged. It hasn't been on a dyno, yet :) , but it will. It has a smaller pulley and a bunch of supporting mods. It's roughly 450 rwhp at around 10 psi.

Another cool Mustang I owned while in high school. It was a 1996 Mystic Cobra. I eventually blew it up being young and stupid. I blew every penny I had putting a 80mm turbo kit on it lol. I had it dyno'd a few months before I blew it up. It hit 460 rwhp and 490 ft/lbs at just 6 psi. I wish I still had the car. It would of been a MONSTER with the right motor.

For me it was 95 3000GT VR4
AWD twin turbo pushing a little bit over 400 AWHP
with FI there was always a headache and money pit. I think im still paying off the 2 blown engines on it lol

and now i think my current car Honda S2000

I really love your Saleen. It is really the only one of that model I really liked. My boss has a 06' Roush and it's alright but nowhere near as sweet as the Saleen.The new model Mustangs I love the Boss 302 and GT 500.
 
Of the 3 cars I've owned my current car is by far my favorite!

When I went to pick it up from the dealer they had it sitting in the center of the showroom floor with a sold sign waiting for me which was pretty awesome itself.

I love the Saleens, only Stang I'd get besides a terminator ;)

And mystic chrome is probably one of the most amazing colors ever produced, especially for a factory paint.


As far as Imports, I don't really like them. The only one's I've had a passion for are the Rx7, S2K, Supra MK IV, S14 & 15 + skylines. I worked at a speedshop when I was younger, got to see plenty of skylines first hand... a bit over rated. My 2 faves are the Rx an the S2k. Only reason why I didn't go with the S2k was insurance was double haha.

I personally don't believe in a type per say. I believe a good car is a good car and will be recognized for it regardless of it's background... from Buick to Ferrari we all have one car we want from each manufacturer.

Coolest but not all that practical was my first car at 17.

A 1972 Vega GT fitted with a '69 327 (Hooker Kit).
Completely inconspicuous right down to the stock rally wheels.
Just one misplaced B&W photo somewhere.

Favorite car was my next one. Black '76 Grand Prix SJ.
Would look great after Liquid Ebony and Gliptone Carnauba Cream.
 
Despite you guys thinking I must be pretty square to drive a mini van and want to drive a Prius,back in the day my 1979 280 Z was always hauling azz.:rockon

I loved that car until the timing chain needed replacing we parted ways.

I painted it white (with a red pearl on top) and clear coat ,and put on an aftermaket lower stylish bumper on it that really looked nice.I always got compliments on that car.

Somewhere I have a polaroid picture of it.LOL

Then there was the 2 Chevy camper vans .............I will never forget. Sigh...........

My mini van is just a work van and not cool at all!:D
