I always used the Griot's clay UNTIL I tried the Autopia stuff. *I* liked the Autopia clay kit MUCH better, more effective cleaning and less residue on the paint. I sometimes still use the Griot's, but often when I go over the same area AGAIN with the Autopia I pick up yellow residue left over from the Griot's clay. I ESPECIALLY get residue when I don't use Speed Shine as lube for my Griot's clay (for various reasons, usually involving the layering of products).
This is NOT a :argue with ck4657, just *MY* experience. The two clays are very different and it's probably not quite fair to compare them directly. The two (basic) types of clay both have their own characteristics and I like having both on hand.
