To be honest I haven't heard of 3D much on many other forums and I just realized they existed when they started sponsoring my home forum. They really need to get out there, they have many under-rated products.

Get idea, but hard to do. As a company, we really cant post on other forums as it would be shilling on those site. Also, a majority of the competitor forums have policies against posting products that they dont sell/sponsor.

All we can really do is just make great products and hope that others use them and talk about them here and other forums.

Just people say nice things about places they are at, in this case the "House of HD" Autopia. I agree. One thing that has to be understood is that 3D is a huge company and their forum business might account for 1/1,000,000 of their overall annual sales. They don't rely on Autopia for much sales and actually keep this forum alive because of their passion for not just the detailing industry, but the need to have a truly unbiased medium to discuss all things detailing.

I've personally seen 3D/HD talked about on several forums, but because of the hate that a certain "competitor" has for them, they end up strongarming the forum admins to lock the threads. This happeded on the Corvette Forum where someone posted a question about UNO, but it quickly got edited and locked. Keep in mind that many other threads about non-sponsored products have been left alone there. It's so rediculous that Barry Theal was banned from another related forum after one of his customers(who was an active member) posted a video of his work mentioning the 3D/HD products he used. The thread got deleted (opps moved to the mod forum :))Another thing to mention is that this forum's store actually sells his wax too which means to me that unless they can profit from something, they'll try to extinguish it. Regoddamdiculous.

It's been a while since I used Poxy, I decided it was time for another try. Not that I didn't like it the first time, I really did, I just have so many LSPs that I like to use a different one each time. Just did a quick wash and waxed half the car with Poxy and half with Glaseur. The Poxy was deeper, wetter and had more shine, it was easier to apply, easier to remove and felt more slick. The only thing Glasuer had on it was a bit more glow. Poxy is one of those product that you just wonder why you don't use more often, its really a treat to use and look so good.

Wait till you try HD Polish under Poxy. :D

I grabbed for my Poxy during the last three details and on the dark colors, I should have paid more attention. I now apply with red foam on Flex at about 2.5 or 3 even, and then do all the glass while it sets--this ensures that it sits long enough as I tend to have zero patience in these matters. After the glass, I simply wipe away and get very good results. 32oz is going to last me a LONG time!!!

What gives you a wetter look proxy or nitro

I've been trying both, I have to give the nod to NITRO over poxy for wet look. let me say I've not split a hood with poxy and nitro and asked people their opinions, but the whole car look on similar colors I say NITRO. For easy of use.....Poxy.

Cheers,

GREG

Will 3d pink soap effect glossy/wet finish or strip proxy. I was told to only use wash and wax after proxy was applied

Washed the car yesterday, I have to say I'm surprised at how well Poxy sheets. It leaves the surface almost dry.

Glasur on left, Poxy on right.

Dan what kind of pressure washer are you using??? Thanks

Its a Husky from Home Depot. Total turd... stay away. I've drained it every winter, stored it indoors and it leaks like a sieve, cycles on and off like a madman and the on off switch only works 1/2 way between on and off. I've got an AR Blue 610 but I'm waiting to get into my new house before I set it up.

Wow thanks for the warning....

Removing Poxy with duragloss rinseless wash mixed with water in spray bottle... any opinions or counterproductive? I am finding poxy to be a little difficult to remove from my dark pearl blue paint. Put it on with machine with finishing pad used only 3 pea size drops about 3 different times on the pad to do an entire f150 supercrew, so i dont think i put it on too heavy. it seams to leave dark streaks after removing. but they come off with a little QD.

I have never had that problem. Why don't you try a light spray of new HD Touch HD Touch or for detail sprays I also use CG V7 or Zaino Z-8. Still the Poxy should look awesome.
