What is good for Hand Polishing?

My neighbor came over while i was working on my dads car, he doesnt like the turtle wax that he picked up from wallymart. He needs a polish, and perferably something that works well by hand and has some fillers.

What are some good recommendtations for a polish and an applicator? I was thinking the Sonus Hand Polish Bundle (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/sonhandpol.html) but what else is there?

Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax?

Even if it's just a wax, i'm sure he'd be happy with something that can remove oxidation and fill lots of swirlies.

ScratchX comes to mind...and a normal foam applicator will do the trick. But I wouldn't recommend polishing a whole car by hand. He'll wear himself out after just the hood if the marring/oxidation is bad.

If he is determined to hand polish, maybe suggest the Polishin Pal from Autogeek. That will surely alleviate hand fatigue, but not entirely.

If ordering isn't out of the question, I *always* recommend 1z Paint Polish. Available at PAKSHACK . It's my hands-down favorite polish for use by hand.

wow really? I'm having good results with this by machine, never imagined it would be good by hand.

polish+fillers is good!

You might consider the Polishin' Pal or the like to aide in the polishing process. They can be found at Autogeek, Danase, Exceldetail, etc.
