what happened to zaino...

Thanks to SgtmajUSMC for his Zaino collection. I went to AZ for two months packing my Griots cordless polisher but forgot my Zaino.

Zaino user since 2002 and still love it. Haven't come close to trying all of the "latest and greatest" (most hyped?) products available, but have gotten on the bandwagon with several newer releases over the years....mostly products I've learned about on this forum.... and always go back to Z2/ZFX, ZCS, Z6, Z8. For me, three coats of Z2/ZFX is the magic number / point of rapidly diminishing returns. The slick feel, durability and look get me every time. I guess I've settled on the if-it-ain't-broke side of things with my Zaino routine.

my friend just got a metallic grey used Honda

im thinking about doing a 50/50 with zpc-z5,z2 and adapt/poxy or PWS/nattys red(or liquid blue)

tangerine hydro tech pad (its in pretty good shape)

this zaino talk has me reminiscing of old days

I'd be real interested in the longevity test...
My guess would be Z-2 would be the winner.
I really like using Z-2 with ZFX of lighter colors.

Funny I discovered Zaino from my brother who owned a Vette back in 2006, when I bought a black Dodge Dakota quad cab. That`s all I`ve ever used and that truck looks brand new still.

Every time I go to look for the latest and greatest, I end up ordering more Zaino. After all hard work of prepping - I actually enjoy a few (well... 3-6) layers of Zaino. The look and durability hasn`t let met down yet.

I`m tempted to try something else... but why bother.

I have used Zaino ZAIO very successfully on all the wood trim you find in good German cars, and it always gives great gloss. clarity, some scratch removal, and protection on those wood trim pieces... It also smells great.. I just apply by hand with a soft microfiber in straight back and forth horizontal motions, let it dry, and wipe it off.

Never really tried it on paintwork because Menzerna does such a great job for me.. And Sonax sometimes, too..

I don`t want to take the time to learn how to use it on paintwork, because I dont have the need for that, but on wood trim, it absolutely rocks..

Every Zaino Rep I have ever met has the most impressive paintwork I have ever seen - hundreds of ZFX`d layers of Z2 -Z5 and it really DOES make a huge difference..

I got out of using Zaino for about 2 seasons. I have many great products in my garage. I started using it again, after I do corrections. I cannot get the same look out of any thing else. The compliments I get are so positive. Everywhere I go, people ask what I used.

I just used Z5 yesterday. Very easy to use and looks great. All of my bottles of ZFX are all dried up.

I caved, just ordered some Z8. I may even lightly polish with KAIO and put a layer of Z2p on, then finish up with z8 the next day. I have to strip it anyways to try a new coating...
