What glass only towel do you like and use?

Amen, Mike. Amen!

Now...let's convince Ranney! :idea

Ranney,

Check out the blue no nap, very high thread count MF that Alfisti is referring to. A MF like like this, or a hybrid WW/ no nap, very high thread count MF might be the way to go for cleaning glass.

Good luck with your search. Let us know if you find a better glass cleaning towel that this type, I'll be interested in testing one myself.

Unless somebody says otherwise, I'm going to assume that no-nap and suede MF are basically the same thing. Many MF suppliers in the US sell suede.

I've had excellent results with both suede and ww. For me, they both clean well with low drag. I also have no-nap cotton cloths for glass cleaning but they don't work nearly as well as the MF.

It the glass is really gunked up I'll start with the cotton just to take off the heaviest grime.

I have tended to use the ww more than the suede but mainly because I have more of them.

I think the 16"x16" is a good size for glass. I'd rather use a couple of them than constantly wrestle with a full size drying towel while I'm inside a car doing the windows. (Heck, on my MINI I'll often use 16"x16" ww MF for drying the whole car, it only takes two.)

PC.

The no-nap and suede aren't *necessarily* the same thing. I have woven MF glass towels that are quite different from my suede MFs. The woven ones are cheapies I use around the house. Light blue in color, got them at Target in a three pack, Baja Sol brand, IIRC.

I like then Viper glass towel *when it doesn't lint* :angry Which most of mine do.

I like the apparently now-discontinued (another :angry ) The Max suede style MF from CMA.

I use a WW from time to time, but it's not a real favorite for this.

I probably use the polypro "paper towels" from Griot's the most. Like the other PC I use a cotton towel first if the glass is really dirty :xyxthumbs

I use WW weave or paper towels for the initial wipe, especially if the glass is REALLY dirty, but for the final streak-free buff, I use MF suede. My one suede MF I got was from Neat items. It's yellow, and not very grabby if a little glass cleaner is on the glass. It's the best I have used. I also got some low nap MF's from Poorboy's on a promotion once. They work ok, but I much prefer the suede. I'd to get a few more, actually, so if you get some Ranney, depending on pricing, I'll be looking to you then also.

I'll be honest, most MF's works fine for me :xyxthumbs (Except the cheapo ones from Costco and Target - they lint)

I use Turtle Wax glass cleaner and EVERY MF under the sun and I can't say which I like more. I use one to clean and one to buff dry.

I guess I lean more to the CMA Viper glass MF or Autopia's older WW detail towel (gray with black stiches around the edge)

But, any MF works for me in the long run.
