What dressings do you all like for dashboards/doors?

Maybe I'm going blind or something, but 303 does not add anything to the original look of the dash when I apply it w/ a MF cloth and buff off.

That's the whole idea. For people that want to protect their dash from fading, but don't want ANY gloss to it, 303 is a good product to deliver what they're looking for.

I prefer to have a slight bit of gloss, just to tell me that there's something on the dash. When the gloss is gone, I reapply the protectant.

Good point Paul, but I can usually tell when 303 starts to fade. I find that if I use a CA Car Duster on the dash, 303 lasts for a very long time.

I have heard horror stories about Armorall. Maybe they have finally joined the ranks of real detailers, but someone would have to prove it to me. The complaints I heard had to do w/ the product build-up over time. It was impossible to remove and created a dull and sticky surface when used over and over. Anybody else ever hear anything like that. I don't want to spread false tales, but I avoid the stuff like the plague.

Well I would have to call this a FALSE statement. I have been using Armor All on my 92 Accord since 92 and applying at least every month and never used anything other than Armor All on it. It is still the same texture, color, feel as new and doesn't have a single crack. BTW it has been sitting outside for the past 3 years 24/7. I think Armor All is a great product, the only bad thing is the slightly greasy surface left, unless you buff after application.

I am glad to hear that and I hope you're right. Maybe they have improved, but I will never forget driving my father-in-law's freshly Armoralled Mercedes from Salt Lake City to Boise, ID and having to throw my clothes away because they were completely Armoralled when I got there. I had to drive that car for a week, and buffed the seats several times, but still had to spend the entire time sitting on towels in order not to ruin more clothes. It was hot and the Armorall just seemed to continuously keep oooozing from everywhere.

Thats weird! I would never use it on seats though. I only use it on dash and other things I dont touch regularly. I use other products for those.

I could see Armor All mixing with the residue that smokers have in their cars to create a near-unremovable goo. I just don't like the smell or the finish myself.
