what does your general "wash" include?

Vacuum, foam gun soak, autopian wash (2 bucket, up to six mitts for filthy cars)

Rinse, cover body in water vanish drying aid spray, re rinse

WW blot dry the door jambs, under hood and trunk.

Aquawax glass and body, de dust inside, DP tyre gel, wheel arches and mud flaps get carlack 68 plastic care coating and Deodoriser

I only do this for one company nearby

Washing is not done on it's own for anyone else. It's only the prep before the refinishing work as I don't really like just washing a car.

When you clay, do you also polish and wax it?

For me, it depends how aggressively I clay. I do plenty of light claying with Sonus green without redoing the LSP (much less the polishing, which I hardly ever do). If I use the KEL/SmartWax clay I'll consider refreshing the LSP. If I use the current version of Sonus gray I'll repolish as that clay tends to mar for me.

Do you get nasty waterspots from the sprinklers?

With two layers of Klasse, so far they wash off. I am surprised.

I had asked about what to do on keeping them at bay, and it seemed most suggested (besides turning them off) to use a good LSP.

I suppose it helps that the car is a light color, and usually within an hour of the sprinklers coming on I am doing 60 mi/hr on the way to work.

Cool, glad to hear it.

You're lucky- Accumulatorette got the A8 sprinklered in Memphis and it etched the [crap] out of her paint and the plastic "B" pillar; even the rotary didn't get it out! Sorta surprised me as I associate such damage with acid rain, not the presumably alkaline water from sprinklers :nixweiss
