This is directly from the major local car wash's website in a town close to mine.
They have the whole setup where you drive through the washing machine and then someone rubs a dirty towel on your paint. Oh did i mention they pay minimum wage to all their workers on the line.

• Clay bar to remove amenities in the Clear Coat paint layer
Clay Detail estimate
• Removes amenities in the Clear Coat protective layer

To me, this made no sense. so I looked it up in case my vocab is just out of date...

a·men·i·ty
əˈmenitē,əˈmē-/Submit
noun
plural noun: amenities
1. a desirable or useful feature or facility of a building or place.

...
and the typical mispelling
• Carnuba hand wax

Carnuba Hand Wax (1-2 hours)
$60
• Carnuba based, enhances the look of the paint
Acts as a protective barrier between your paint and the amenities in the air or UV sun rays
• Plus Car Wash
• Protects for 3-4 months

they refer to amenities, incorrectly, all over their website and there are numerous typos as well.

i just found it quite amusing

They remove desirable or useful features from your car :)

ie. wax/sealant, clearcoat, base coat etc

Seemed simple to me to understand
(unless of course this isn't what they meant)
