What do you use to clean your MF towels?

I was looking at getting the Pinnacle or the Sonus product, but not sure which one to go with. I haven't had success in using Woolite to get the difficult wax & grease out.

I used simple green the last couple of times and it seems to do the trick.

A small amount of Cold Water Liqud Tide, 1/4 cup of vinegar, and whola, the LG ultra delicate cycle keeps them like new.

I have yet to try Simple Green, but I've heard good things about it.

steve, it helps to get rid of any leftover detergent and revives them to be fluffy again. try it out, add about 4-5 ounces (about the same amount you would to wash your car) to your final rinse...

I use oil eater. Cleans all waxes and polishes out of towels.

Liquid Tide Free HE. It is very convenient but struggles on caked-on brake dust.

Micro-Restore for a normal wash, but if I have some that are really grungy I use a strong APC in the first wash and then wash them again, and toss in my normally dirty MF's, with Micro-Restore. Like some of the others I also like to throw some vinegar into the rinse. I never wash a towel that has something like brake dust on it with my good MF's.



I also like to pre-soak my grungy MF's in a bucket with some Dawn or an APC and then hand rinse with a hose or in the sink to get the worst of the gunk off before putting them in the washer.
