what do you use for your tires?

Anyone know who carries the Mothers Reflections Tire Care OTC? Today I tried Advance Auto Parts, Napa, AutoZone, PepBoys & Wal-mart with no luck. Sounds like a great product, I'd like to give it a try.

"Locally" in the USA midwest only pepboys carries some of the products, and I think they are your best bet. Otherwise, online.

I use Meguiars NXT insane shine. $5-6 per can at any autopart store. When applied to a clean tire, the tire looks as good as your polished paint.

Yeah, any of the new Reflections products can be difficult to find. Fortunately, we have an independent automotive store in my area that stocks almost all the FX, new Reflections, and even the Power products.

Maybe one of those other stores could order the Mothers products for you?

303 Aerospace Protectant for the matte look and Black Opal for the wet look! Blackfire Gel to clean tires & wheels.

You should clean and seal your wheels, which will eliminate the need to use harsh wheel cleaners on a regular basis. They will wash clean with just ordinary car soap and water.

When I said "harsh cleaner", I was basically referring to any product marketed as a wheel cleaner. Those products are meant to break down large amounts of brake dust. It's friendlier on your wheels to just use ordinary car soap. Plus it takes less time, and looks better.

Get some sealant on those babies! I use AIO + WG, but any sealant will do the trick.

I use a variety of products on my tires. I like to switch them up from time to time. Z16,WG,CG Extreme Tire Shine,V.R.T. & AA. So far, the Z16 & CG Extreme Tire Shine outlast everything I've tried over the past 20+ years.

I use a sponge, put a bit of Meg's Gold Class Trim Detailer on it and then spritz a little 303 protectant on top of that. Put it on my tires and it gives a deep black matte look. Survives through the rain as well.
