What Do You Use As Trunk Lid Prop ?

I am trying to find something to use that can be adjustable to lift up the trunk lid so I can buff, now with many SUV lids I need something other than a milk crate. What do you guys use ?



I seen some adjustable support rods at the local hardware, but I still need to find something to pull the trunk lid down.

Use a bungee cord.

Search around some PDR sites or local body supply places for a tool called a "door jammer" Basically an adjustable tube with a hook on one side and a hoop to slide into a door's latch on the other. Real "handy" piece! ha
