What do you think of this picture?

Hey guys, I'm looking to put my logo and some text on my black trailer. I would also like to put this photo on there as well... Royalty free stock image | Bugatti Atlantic | iStockphoto.com

I really like this picture because of the black background and the bluish fog surrounding the car because it matches the blue in my logo. I also like the fact that the car is very unique, unlike the typical Ferrari or Lamborghini, Porsche etc. that alot of people use.

Here is a link to a thread I started a while back with some pics of the trailer that it would be put on...http://autopia.org/forum/professional-detailers/85119-pics-my-new-trailer.html?highlight=trailer

And here is a thread with my business card and logo...http://autopia.org/forum/profession...ue-my-bus-card-thread.html?highlight=critique

So, what do you think? Thanks for your input.

I am 10000000000000% aginst using any vehicle any where on your material (biz cards, web site, etc..) that you did not detail.

You will find this on my site -

Every vehicle on my web site.com was detailed by Superior Shine. WE DO NOT USE STOCK PHOTOGRAPHS! The shine you see, we created!

I 10000000000000% agree.

If you didn't detail it, don't represent that you may have.

I agree..Plus, that photo does not depict what you do..confusing. What is your market? If it is a middle class customer, they are not going to act by looking at that picture. You need to really use your money where it will get you money back and honestly, that picture does not do just that IMO.

Thank you all for your input! What would you suggest then? Should I just go with my logo, contact info and some service info then and leave out a picture? I also want to put that I am fully licensed and insured and that I accept all major credit cards. I just thought that the car picture would draw a bit more attention, but you guys have really good points concerning that issue. I guess I'll have to reconsider then.

Find a nice BMW or something that you detailed, and use that. Tell the owner you'll give him $25 or whatever bucks off his next detail. Take the picture in good light, photoshop it and you're good to go.

I agree with the above comments, but a picture will probably attract potential clients to read the actual text... I am in the process of designing a logo for myself and also my new business cards.. the front of the cards is done, and I'm considering making the back a half/half shot of a detailed hood/trunk/roof, whatever and including some text such as services, etc...
